When will Forza Horizon 6 Come out in 2024?
Update, 21 May 2024: The XBOX showcase event will be held in June and the buzz regarding the FH6 has heightened. It’s been over 2 years since FH5 was launched and its highly anticipated successor is just about due as per the game’s traditional timeline of launches.
But Microsoft did indicate that the AAA titles will now be refreshed after an excruciatingly lengthy 5-6 year cycle and besides the developers of the Forza Horizon series (Playground Games) are busy with the upcoming RPG Fable.
I sincerely hope Microsoft drops some kind of news about the Forza Horizon 6 as millions of fans like myself are getting tired of waiting around.
Where will be the setting of Forza Horizon 6?
According to the rumors, the Forza Horizon 6 could take place in China or Japan. Both countries have some of the most diverse and beautiful landscapes in the world. Japan, the land of the rising sun, is known for its picturesque mountain backdrops and sakura season.
The mere idea of hooning around in an LFA while the cherry blossoms fall from the sky makes us drool. Similarly, China has some of the most beautiful valleys and skyscrapers on the planet. Regardless, it could be either one.
What should we expect from the upcoming Forza Horizon 6?
Aside from the usual Forza Horizon cars, we could get a much more expansive collection of EV cars to play with that could be customized with bigger battery packs and more powerful motors and props that were featured in FH5’s latest European-themed festival that also included Jaguar XE Project 8, Aston Martin Valkyrie.
More liveries, parts, and much more optimized in-game credit systems could also be implemented. An entirely new direction and identity could benefit the whole franchise in general, as gamers are getting a bit tired of recycling old cars and animations.
When is Forza Horizon 6 coming out?
Game developer Playground is actively hiring developers for its project, as per reports on X.com. Before Forza Horizon 5, each entry in the open-world racing game came out with a gap of 2 years. The last entry in the series came out 3 years after Forza Horizon 4.
Keeping this in mind, we can expect Forza Horizon 6 to come out in either the second half of 2024 or early 2025. Meanwhile, early gameplay demos and trailers could drop as early as the beginning of next year.
What cars will be there in Forza Horizon 6?
The list of Forza Horizon cars keeps growing with every new entry in the series. FH4 was filled with exotics and ultra-rare one-offs. Forza Horizon 5 had around 500 cars at launch and more than 750 cars by the time the last DLC came out.
We can expect Forza Horizon 6 to come out with more cars than ever. This can be done by adding cars that weren’t in the previous entry because of usual licensing issues or by adding cars that have been recently released. Below is a list of the best cars that we could see in the upcoming Forza Horizon 6.
25. Zenvo Aurora

It has head-turning bodywork that includes a retractable cover of headlights, active aero, and a neo-futuristic rear-end design. Only 599 units will be made, making the Daytona SP3 highly exclusive and the perfect addition to the large list of Forza Horizon cars.

A tribute to the picture-perfect 1-2-3 finish at Le Mans and hauled by the most powerful version of its famed Ecoboost engine, the latest Ford GT can make up to 800 hp. Combined with Multimatic’s Adaptive Spool Valve (ASV) setup, a bespoke racing gearbox, dished wheels, and a longer wheelbase, the Ford GT MK IV is bred to take down lap records.
Ford is still hushed on the detailed specs of the gorgeously designed Ford GT but has priced its beloved halo car around $1.7 million.

The notorious Christian Von Koenigsegg has once again redefined hypercar standards. Named after a mythical monster, the surprisingly comfortable Koenigsegg Gemera is brimming with cutting-edge innovations and can be the most powerful car to be added to a Forza Horizon game.
The Swedish Mega GT boasts an 800 hp Dark Matter Raxial motor that can be paired with a 600 hp 2.0 liter inline-3 “Tiny Friendly Giant” engine for 1,400 hp and 1,850 nm (1,364 lb-ft) of torque or a Jesko Derived 5.0 liter V8 for a record-breaking 2,300 hp and 2,750 nm (2,028 lb-ft) of torque. Regardless, you get a phenomenal 9-speed LST transmission and a 250-mph speedometer as standard.
21. Lamborghini Revuelto

Powered by an in-house developed 3.0-liter Nettuno V6, the upcoming all-carbon MCXtrema will make 730 hp and will come with track-specific goodies like a roll cage, racing harness, and Ohlins four-way adjustable dampers.

Tuatara will come in two variants: “Striker” and “Aggressor.” The former is a track-focused variant, while the latter is as crazy as it gets.

Ford Performance’s Supervan projects are some of the most insane and powerful builds on the planet. The latest Ford Supervan 4 and its hill-climb-focused cousin, the Supervan 4.2, pack a 2,000 hp and 1,400 hp electric powertrain and were built with rally gurus STARD.
Built on the humble E-Transit body, Ford promises a sub-2-second 60 mph sprint and all-day all-wheel drive burnouts, making the Rimac Nevera somewhat unimpressive in the most amusing way possible.

The Frankenstein BMW X5 LM with its 8,000 rpm, 700 hp F1 engine could reach 186 mph during full blast and did an impressive 8 minutes, 5 seconds lap of the green hell. God knows what would have happened if the 18,000 rpm V-10 unit from Ralf Schumacher’s Williams-BMW Formula 1 car that BMW designers originally wanted to shoehorn in would have fit.

The upcoming Tesla Roadster could be the most game-changing electric car ever built. It is rumored to be powered by a quad-motor 2,000-hp setup and cold gas thrusters. The car could do 0 to 60 in less than 2 seconds and upwards of 250 mph, which would make it a perfect fit on the list of Forza Horizon cars.
