Picks Up More Women Than A Lamborghini

Poking fun at one of the most dreamt-about cars of all time is not recommended but the good old Daihatsu couldn’t care less. In the photo above they openly mocked the impracticality of owning a Lambo in a bid to amusingly siphon away a chunk of their consumers who apparently are only after women, LOL indeed! Daihatsu was pretty serious about its Hijet MPV as they also mentioned “Don't Laugh”, in the small print.

Range Rover has got a bit of a reputation when it comes to reliability but that seems to have been all in the past now as they have once again claimed the top spot in many segments thanks to their new Defender series. There is no denying that Volvo is one of the most likable carmakers in the world thanks to their no-nonsense approach to passenger safety, hell, they even limited all their cars to 112 mph. They even took their wagon in the 90s to the classic car-crushing competition (yes it exists) and here is what the Monster Truck driver Fred Shafer had to say about it

 To put things in perspective a Monster truck weighs between 12000 and 30000 pounds, all that on the roof of a tiny Swedish wagon, and it lived to tell the tale. Now that’s safety.

Porsche’s 2026 F1 entry may not be happening after all but the brand's contribution to Motorsport is simply omnipresent. Be it F1( a long time ago), Rallying, or Endurance racing Porsche is or was everywhere. Their 1983 Le Mans result came as no surprise to anyone and they took the top 9 spots out of 10 thanks to the mighty Porsche 956. The one place they lost, thankfully, resulted in one of the most sarcastic commercials of all time.

There is a Volkswagen for everyone.VW has got so many cars in its portfolio that there is one for every occasion. Although the cars they wanted to sell you back then are now all discontinued, there are still plenty of Golf models around to choose from.

Land Cruiser is THE holy grail when it comes to owning a bulletproof vehicle. It was recently revised and has since then been selling like hotcakes. Most Land Cruiser owners don’t use them as intended but those do can’t remember which color they bought it in especially after years of undying mud-slinging fun that it can provide in spades for pretty much forever.

What better way to announce the arrival of Park Assist? For the uninitiated Park Assist used to be a rather niche feature in mid 2000s and deserved a commercial of its own. Looks like the VDubs was pretty confident of its Park Assist accuracy as getting sued by every Goldfish owner on the planet would been really expensive and prickly.

Say what you will about VW’s nasty touch capacitive steering buttons but the Germans do know how to make some truly indestructible cars. The Beetle for example still continues to be pretty sought after even though millions of people bought them. Even cops love them and seem to have some confidence in their bullet-stopping abilities, see for yourself.

Porsche’s Staring Is Rude 

You could argue that when compared to cars like Classic Ferraris and Jaguars, the 911 is not beautiful, it's pretty iconic but lacks the appeal that Italian cars seem to have by the tonnage. Whatever the case maybe you can’t help but drool and stare rudely when an air-cooled Carrera 2.7 RS passes by and guess what, Porsche doesn’t mind either!

Aside from the name, there are plenty of similarities between two of the most popular names on the planet. Both were sold in millions, both are now retired and both are equally desirable. One is an English rock band and the other is a German passenger car. But how on Earth VW managed to fit 4 cars on a crosswalk that small is beyond me.
