The current 515 hp Lyriq is no slouch but the upcoming 2026 Lyriq V will be Cadillac’s first foray into the performance EV segment.

The 2026 Lyriq-V Gets The Go-Fast Goodies As Cadillac’s First Performance EV

The first detail you pick up on is the addition of Brembo brakes and the launch control function. The Lyriq-V will likely have GM’s own Utium battery pack along with a dual motor setup. Horsepower could be as high as 650 hp depending on the trim or with overboost

 

You can also expect that the 2026 Lyriq-V will come with high-performance tires likely Goodyear or Michelin along with minor facelifts, bigger wheels, and gloss black bits. The current Lyriq can do 326 miles, the V version should be at least able to manage 280 miles.
