The Carrera lineup has taken a weird U-Turn. After depriving us of a manual GTS, the new Carrera T is Stuttgart's way of saying sorry as it is a manual-only 911 and comes with a 388-hp twin-turbocharged flat-six.

The new 911 Carrera T makes a splash with purists thanks to a spoiler lip borrowed from the 911 Carrera GTS, cheeky shift pattern logo stickers on the triangular rear windows, in the interior, and on the dashboard.
The Carrera T rolls on 20-inch front wheels and 21-inch rear wheels, fitted with 245/35 ZR20 front tires and 305/30 ZR21 rear tires. colors, including Shade Green Metallic, Crayon, Slate Grey Neo, Guards Red, Lugano Blue, Gentian Blue Metallic, and Cartagena Yellow Metallic
Porsche has taken a page from BMW’s “Handschlater” Z4 to make the manual-only Carrera T a special 911 for all occasions. The cabin features an open-pore walnut gear knob atop a shortened gear lever, that looks sweet as hell.
Standard Sport Chrono Package also comes with the ‘MT’ (Manual Transmission) badge in front of the gear lever and the shift pattern logo printed on the passenger side highlights its focus on manual driving.
The new Carrera T is powered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder twin-turbo boxer engine, delivering an impressive 394 horsepower and a torque of up to 332 lb-ft. This power is sent to the rear axle through a standard six-speed manual transmission those who appreciate smooth downshifts, the auto-blip function automatically compensates for speed differences between the engine and gearbox during shifts.
With the standard Sport Chrono Package, the 2025 Carrera T Coupe accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds, while the Cabriolet achieves the same in 4.7 seconds. The top speeds are 183 mph for the Coupe and 182 mph for the Cabriolet. The upgraded braking system features larger 13.8-inch (350 mm) brake discs with six-piston fixed calipers at the front.
The Carrera T also comes with rear-axle steering. The PASM adaptive sports suspension, lowered by 0.4 inches, is also standard, providing a sportier ride with model-specific tuning that Porsche claims, makes the Carrera T exceptionally agile.
The 911 Carrera T weighs 3,258 pounds and it's over 88 pounds lighter than the standard 911 Carrera achieving 24–26 miles per gallon combined. The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T is now available to order. The coupe starts at $135,995 while the Cabriolet starts at $149,295.
