The Italian Automaker Giants, Ferrari has a long and enriched history in the automotive world that every car enthusiast becomes a Ferrari fan in his or her lifetime. This prestigious brand was founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1939 and since then the firm has pushed boundaries in the automotive designs. Ferrari has made some of the world’s hottest and most admirable sports cars. This time Ferrari has gone beyond the intergalactic state with their new F80 Concept car which demonstrates how a man and machine have advanced themself beyond engineering and designing.

The F80’s aerodynamics and streamlined design are what make it interesting and inspiring for other automotive designers too. The Concept of the F80 is influenced by the 2000s Ferrari F1 cars. The rear aerodynamics of the car is inspired by the Next Generation Air Dominance fighter jets (NGAD). These American jets are called the symbol of pure stealth and performance and this is what looks the same with the conceptual design of F80. When on the road the same F80 would look like the package of ultimate performance. Its aero designs help cars to take sweep turns around the corners.
As a petrolhead, we have already seen this type of design in the past. These hypothetical designs had also been rendered before in Ferrrai’s other models. This scenario has entitled us to the design of Pininfarina company. The Pininfarina is another design automotive coach-house that worked as the design subsidiary for Scuderia Ferrari. It was founded by Battista Farina in 1930. He has also created some masterpieces for Alfa Romeo, Peugeot, Fiat, and GM. The Fascia of the car is so narrow that helps to reduce aerodynamic drag during high speed. This is what Ferrari is known for, speed. The Italian Prancing Horse is estimated to produce 1,200 horsepower and is expected to be covering 0-60 in 2.2 seconds.
The F80 concept is designed in such a way that the Heckblende and the configurations seem to have a 6.3L F140FE V12 engine. This engine will be the successor to the powerful engine of LaFerrari. The V12 engine block has produced some sophisticated results in the past and has its track record. The Header Panel is designed in such a way that smooth edges near the mounted bumper would play a significant role while taking sharp turns.
The F80 seems to have 1,200 hp of power which is more than that generated by the LaFerrari. This extra 250 hp is something that defines the performance of the V12 engine. There is so much detailed information in the design of the F80 itself, Every dynamics principle was kept in mind while making this design. The design is so peculiar that the laminar airflow will fail to reduce the speed and direction of the car through the car kammback.
If you followed the LeMans then it will be easy for you to understand the design rendering of the rear of the F80. The rear of the car seems similar to that of Ford's iconic 1962 Le Mans Winner Ford GT. This type of identical design is shared only when the car is aerodynamically challenged. The sides of the car have air pods that are inspired by the F1 side pods of the car. These side pods help to study the flow of air curtains while the car takes sharp turns at the apex of the race track.
Ferrari has not made any official announcement regarding the production of the F80. All we can say is that the design of such generations is out of the league. Such a masterpiece can be seen only to the limited eyes as the production units will be lean. The price of such a car would be costly and would be available for possible clients. For car enthusiasts like us, we can only witness such cars in the form of replicas in books or videos but we certainly hope to see it on the asphalt one day. And if it ever actually arrives on the market, the F80 would not be just the fastest Ferraris, but among the most incredible cars ever.
