Honda has been known to develop some of the most reliable and practical cars. However, their range is not limited to that. Honda has a long history in motorsport and has created some of the best and fastest sports cars that strike the perfect balance between practicality and performance.

Honda's portfolio includes some of the all-time classics, like the S2000, which would rev as high as 9000 rpm; the unique Accord EX-V6 Coupe; and the all-time favorite Civic Type R Touring. Since the 1980s, they have been offering reliable sports cars to their American audiences.

 6. 1970-1980 Honda Civic

We assume you do have a soft spot for vintage cars, so we are starting our list with an old Honda from the 1970s. The Honda Civic was launched in the United States as a hatchback model, with the five-door hatchback model coming in 1978. At launch, the Civic had a price of $2,200 and was equipped with a 1.2- to 1.5-liter engine that had an output of 54 hp to 70 hp.

5. 1980-1990 Honda CR-X Si

In the upcoming years, Honda started making very good-looking cars, and the CR-X Si was one of them. The Honda CR-X Si, made from 1988 to 1991, was the second generation of the CR-X vehicle. The Si model was equipped with a 1.6-liter inline-4 engine that produced 105 hp and 98 lb-ft of torque.

The Honda Civic Type R was based on the Civic's sixth generation and was first introduced in 1997. The larger chassis gave it a more muscular road presence.
