12. Porsche Taycan Turbo S 

The Porsche Taycan Turbo S is the only electric car in Porsche’s portfolio right now and is the first car of the fastest AWD car setting a 0-60 time of 2.6 seconds and having a top speed of 161 MPH. 

Powered by an AC Permanent Synchronous Motor one on each axle, it has a combined power output of 616 hp (750 hp over-boost power) and 774 lb-ft of combined torque. 

The Taycan Turbo S has an EPA estimated range of 201 miles and 278 miles of range as per ACMI testing. It also comes with 3 years of free charging at Electrify America charging stations.

11. Porsche 911 Turbo S 

One of the well-known options in the all wheel drive sports cars segment is the Porsche 911 Turbo S, the fastest Porsche available in 2022 by setting a 0-60 time of 2.6 seconds, the same as the Taycan Turbo S, but has a higher top speed of 205 mph. 

Powering the 911 Turbo S is a 3.7-liter twin-turbocharged flat-6 which makes 640 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque and is paired to an 8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission that sends power to the AWD system.

As for the upgrades made to the Turbo S over the previous generation, Porsche has improved the AWD system and transfer case to handle more torque.

There is also a better air intake system than the previous generation and also changed the way the air flows in the turbochargers so that airflow is improved by 13% to improve said times. Recently, new facelifted Turbo models have been winter testing with aerodynamic upgrades.

8. Nissan GT-R Nismo 

The Nissan GT-R Nismo is the fastest AWD car from a mass-market auto-manufacturer and this sets a 0-60 time of 2.5 seconds with a top speed of 205 mph. 

The Nissan GT-R Nismo is powered by a 600-hp, 3.8L twin-turbocharged V-6 motor that makes 481 lb-ft of torque paired to a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport is one of the fastest Chiron models setting a 0-60 time of 2.3 seconds and gets the 8.0L quad-turbocharged W16 engine which makes 1,479 hp and 1,180 lb-ft of torque.

It can also go from 37 mph to 75 mph in its 6th gear in 4.4 seconds, showing how fast the Chiron Pur Sport is.
