New age fast Jaguars are born supercharged, and when the 2013 Jaguar XJ was released with a supercharged V6 motor under the hood, it became a luxury sportscar with a yacht-like design and sportscar-like swiftness.
In 2013, Jaguar introduced the refreshed XJ model, and instead of the naturally aspirated V8 motor, they fitted the smaller, supercharged V6, which was derived from the earlier V8 only. The result was an almost similarly fast luxury sedan with better efficiency and a fun-to-drive nature.
Not only the engine was changed, but Jaguar also upgraded the suspension setup, which made the ride far better than before. Inside, you’d find an upgraded infotainment setup, which helped it keep up with the competition.
One more noticeable change was the addition of the 8-speed automatic instead of the previously offered 6-speed one. The new gearbox was smooth and shifted quickly. However, if you want the best feedback from the transmission, then you should keep it in sport mode, and you’ll have total control over the car’s powertrain.
The 2013 Jaguar XJ 3.0 Supercharged Sedan was priced at around $73,200, and it used to compete with other luxury sedans like the Mercedes-Benz S 350 and BMW 7 Series

If you think hot wagons were just made by the Germans, then you’re wrong. Once upon a time in 2015, Jaguar created a monster with too much practical space, and it was called the Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake.
The 2015 Jagura XFR-S Sportbrake Wagon is not what you expect when it comes to a hot wagon. It is heavier than you’d expect and not as fast as some other cars, but thanks to the supercharged V8 motor, it does a great job of initial acceleration without any lag.
However, thanks to its heaviness, it isn’t as rapid in the long run, even though it can do over 180 miles per hour. In its time, the Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake was priced at $84,545, and it used to compete with the likes of the Mercedes-Benz E63 S AMG and the Audi RS6 Avant.

The Jaguar Project 7 was one of many limited edition projects done by Jaguar, and this time they took the F-Type convertible body and put the 5.0-supercharged motor under the hood, all while keeping the drivetrain limited to RWD only.
Now, even though it costs more than a regular F-Type convertible, you won’t get a roof to save you from rain, and for those who want a proper old-school racing experience, this is quite a nice touch, we’d say.
The Jaguar Project 7 was available on sale for only the 2016 model year, and only 250 of these were ever produced by Jaguar’s SVO (Special Vehicle Operation) division. However, in the US, only 50 units were allotted, and 80 were reserved for the UK market.
The (2015–16) Jaguar Project 7 used to come at a starting price, and it was available with white and blue as standard color options. However, if you wanted more British essence out of it, then the British Racing Green was also available for an additional $10,000.

For ages, we have seen manufacturers create road-legal versions of their successful racecars. Maybe once in a decade, every manufacturer tries to come up with something like this that is produced in limited numbers and will offer you a proper race-car-like experience on the road.
The Jaguar XJR-15 was a byproduct of this trend. Jaguar and TWR (Tom Walkinshaw Racing) joined hands to build a road-going version of the Le Mans winning XJR-9, and they named it the XJR-15, with a production number limited to about 50 units, each costing half a million pounds back in the day!
The XJR-15 was a proper driver’s car. It was mechanical, and there were very few electronic driver aids. So, to handle the power of a big V12 rear-wheel-drive machine, you will need a ton of skills to learn.
The steering was accurate, the performance was all the way through the rev range and the chassis and the suspension were so good that it made high-speed cornering, look like a piece of cake.

Who doesn’t love sleepers? These are a breed of cars that rip off supercars and flashy sportscars on tracks and highways. The Jaguar XE SV Project 8 sedan is the perfect example of this.
Built on Jaguar’s entry-level model, the XE, the Project 8 got a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 motor that had been tuned to produce nearly 600 horsepower, which was the most rated power in a Jaguar back in the day, and even today, that power rating tops any other new Jaguar on sale right now.
So the result was a lightweight, sub-3-second sedan with a top speed of 200 miles per hour. But it wasn’t only about the engine; the whole suspension setup was replaced by a race-spec one, which made it the fastest four-door sedan around the Nurburgring back in the day.
However, the Jaguar XE SV Project 8 was not a pocket-friendly cat at all! It’d cost you almost $190,000 when new, which was nearly double the price of hot sedans of its era. Now, considering the fact that it was limited to only 300 units and came with a proper track-spec suspension setup, active aerodynamics, and a horsepower rating almost similar to the Huracan-level supercars, it deserves some sort of premium over the other hot sedans for sure, but is it worth this much?

Just like the XJR-15, the Jaguar XJ220 was also a collaborative project between Jaguar and TWR. The XJ220 was a supercar of the 90s that became an icon afterward, and now it falls into the category of cool modern classics.
Back when Jaguar released this supercar, the craze was touching the sky. It is reported that people ignored cars like the Ferrari F40 to check out the XJ220. And boy-oh-boy, it was a beautiful yet fierce machine!
This year, the XJ220 turns 31, and even if the production numbers were planned to be higher, Jaguar could only create about 275 units, thanks to the recession that hit the economy badly, making buying a car worth almost $500,000 a very hard choice.

The Jaguar XE SV Project 8 is the most powerful Jaguar ever produced to date, with a horsepower rating of 592.
