The Vintage Motor Car Club of America or VMCCA was founded in 1938. Since then it has been promoting the joy and enjoyable experience that vintage cars bring. As per VMCCA, it tries to propagate its mission through “the acquisition, preservation, and exhibition of all vintage and historically significant vehicles and associated materials.”

To pass on the legacy of the vintage, historically important, and collectors cars, the Vintage Motor Car Club Of America (VMCCA) has been organizing events, shows, and awards. Also, it has been publishing the award-winning Bulb Horn magazine without missing out for 80 years straight. Furthermore, the VMCCA holds two national award programs. The first one is the Gold Award of Excellence program. The second program includes various sponsored national awards.

How to Join Vintage Motor Car Club Of America (VMCCA)?

You can apply for the Vintage Motor Car Club Of America (VMCCA) membership online or you can do it by mail as well. If you are a student from the age of 18 to 25, one-year VMCCA membership costs $12. Otherwise, one-year membership requires $40 (also applicable to returning members). 

Meanwhile, an internet special membership is offered to only new members for $20. Furthermore, members can also add $5 for each junior family member. Lastly, members can donate $5 to $100 under the Bulb Horn Patron donation while filling out the membership application.

Vintage Motor Car Club Of America (VMCCA) organizes numerous touring events throughout the year. VMCCA claims that its most famous touring event is the Revival AAA Glidden Tour for pre-WWII motor vehicles. Meanwhile, some other notable tours include CHROME GLIDDEN TOUR, the Mid-Atlantic Region Tour, and VMCCA 1 and 2 Cylinder Tour.
