Mechanically, the Reventón is similar to its cheaper sibling, the Murcielago. The Reventón is powered by a 6.5-liter engine borrowed from Murciélago LP 640. With some upgrades, it puts out 641 horsepower with a maximum torque of 487 lb.-ft. This translates to an acceleration of 0–60 mph in less than 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 211 MPH, meaning you’ll be zooming ahead of the pack. Plus, with advanced traction control systems and variable-speed assisted steering, you can be sure that you’re always in control.

The Reventón Roadster also uses the same motor however cranks out 661 horsepower to compensate for the additional 55 lbs of weight due to chassis reinforcement. Due to the surge in power, the 0 to 60 remains the same with the top speed dropping to 205 MPH.

Driving Dynamics

As with any high-performance sports car, the Reventón’s driving dynamics demand skill and attention. Its all-wheel-drive system, advanced suspension, and precise steering offer excellent handling and cornering capabilities. However, the aggressive nature of the car requires experienced drivers who can tame its power and control.

Reventón’s focus on performance and design means that practicality takes a backseat. It features a two-seat layout and minimal boot space, making it less suitable for daily commuting or long trips with multiple passengers. The car has limited storage space, and its low ground clearance can pose challenges when navigating speed bumps, steep driveways, or uneven roads. The black leather and brown alcantara seats however go well with the multi-million dollar price tag that it carries.

Not just on the outside, the Reventón instrument cluster is also inspired by the fighter jets. The car uses three TFT liquid crystal displays inspired by modern aircraft cockpit displays that focus on engine revs and g-force. The instruments are set within a structure milled from a solid block of aluminum and protected by a carbon-fiber casing. Drivers can choose between the more modern aviation-style readout or the traditional circular gauge design, emulating analog dials with digital precision.

The Lamborghini Reventón is a special car and the Sant’Agata Bolognese car manufacturer pulled every string to keep it that way. Only 20 units rolled off from the production line with one additional car produced for the Lamborghini museum. Out of the total 20 Lamborghini Reventón coupes, 10 were delivered to the United States, seven were allocated to Europe, one went to Canada, and two were sent to Asia.

Each car comes with a serial number in the sequence of 20 stamped on the front dashboard. The car displayed at Lamborghini Automobile Museum in Italy bears the number 00/20. The Reventón On the other hand is no different. Only 15 units of the Reventón Roadster were produced, making it one of the rarest and most exclusive Lamborghinis ever made.

Lamborghini Reventón Current Value

As of 2024, the Lamborghini Reventón’s value is showing an upward trend. As per Classic Market Benchmark, Reventón’s value ranges between $1.8 Million – $2.0 Million whereas the Roadster counterpart sits at around $2.1 Million. For instance, RM Sotheby’s sold a 2008 Lamborghini Reventón with serial number 12/20 at the Monterey 2022 for $1.9 Million.
