JUN Auto is a high-performance automotive company based in Tokyo, Japan. The company was founded in 1980 by Junichi Tanaka, a legendary car tuner in the JDM community. They also have a strong reputation in the motorsports world, particularly in drifting and circuit racing events. JUN Auto has also worked with many professional racing teams to develop and test their products in real-world racing.
They specialize in designing and manufacturing aftermarket performance parts for Japanese sports cars, especially the cars from the 90s such as the Nissan Skyline GT-R, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, Mazda RX-7, and other high-performance cars. In short, it is a company that sells everything to improve the performance of your car including engine parts, drivetrain, intake and exhaust systems, aero parts, and more. As mentioned earlier, Junichi Tanaka is the founder of this legendary performance shop. Sadly, he died in March 2019 at the age of 76 due to cancer.
The Jun Super Lemon Nissan Skyline GTR R33 is a heavily modified version of the Nissan Skyline R33 GTR. It features an extensively modified engine and drivetrain, as well as extensive aerodynamic and suspension upgrades. Also, The engine has been modified to produce over 800 horsepower owing to its high-performance parts like the stroker kit, larger turbocharger, and a race exhaust system. Exterior aerodynamic tweaks include a custom front bumper, side skirts, and rear diffuser, as well as a large rear wing.
The suspension system of the Jun Super Lemon R33 GTR has also been extensively upgraded which absolutely improves handling and the high-speed cornering performance of the car.
The Jun Hyper Lemon 350Z is a track-tuned version of the Nissan 350Z boasting a highly modified engine and drivetrain, as well as extensive aerodynamic and suspension upgrades. The engine has been upgraded with a 3.8L stroker kit, race cams, Cosworth pistons, and I-beam connecting rods by JUN.

Jun Auto’s iconic tuner is the Toyota Supra aka Jun Akira Toyota Supra, In 2000, the Jun Akira Supra set the fastest street-legal car in Japan with a top speed of 249 mph. The car was heavily modified, with a heavily modded engine capable of producing 1,200 horsepower, as well as aerodynamic enhancements and other modifications to improve its speed and handling. Other popular modifications from Jun Auto include the enlarged 3.2L stroker kit engine with improved pistons, connecting rods, and crankshaft.
Further modifications include the six-speed sequential transmission, HKS triple clutch, and high-performance twin Greddy T78 turbochargers. JUN Auto has managed to make a monster of a build with this Supra, making it the most extreme mod ever produced by JUN Auto.
Next up, we have the highly modified fourth generation Honda Prelude aka JUN Super Lemon Prelude which comes equipped with a bigger H22a VTEC engine good enough for 270 horsepower which is double the power of the standard version.
Besides that, the Prelude also gets a JUN high-cam kit, JUN forged pistons, and an Accord Euro R intake. Albeit being a bit down on power compared to other JUN-modded cars, the JUN Super Lemon Prelude is a significant car in the world of JDM tuners.
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 5 is the rally-inspired version of the standard Lancer which was produced from 1998-1999. JUN took it up a notch further with the JUN Hyper Lemon Evo 5 which is an all-wheel drive monster specifically designed and developed to deliver the maximum performance on tracks.
The tunes that make Hyper Lemon Evo 5 special are a 2.2L stroker kit, camshaft, and TD06 turbine. It produced a whopping 567 horsepower after all the modifications, making it one of the highest-tuned Lancer Evolutions of all time.
Honda Civic EK4 or Jun Auto Civic E4 is another modified Honda by JUN Auto. It uses a 1.8L inline 4 motor paired with a custom five-speed Integra Type-R transmission. Other modifications include the Volk Racing TE37 wheels, Cusco limited-slip differential, Integra GS-R brake system, Sparco interior, and Brembo brake rotors.
Also, it is one of the most famous Civics in the JDM community. Other aerodynamic enhancements include the Type-R front lip, Type-R grille, JUN vented aero fiberglass hood, and a JUN aero wing for increased downforce.
The second generation Subaru Impreza or JUN Super Lemon Impreza GDB is a time attack track weapon developed by JUN Auto. As with all the other cars, this Impreza is also modified to extract maximum performance On and Off the track.
The JUN Super Lemon Impreza GDB gets a 2.5L stroker kit EJ25 engine which puts out 582hp and 495lb-ft. Other engine modifications include the slide cam sprocket, high lift camshaft, titanium valve retainer, and racing valve springs. Besides, it also gets an ECU stage tune, lightweight limited slip differential, and a few other modifications that make it an absolute mean machine.
The most powerful car modified by JUN Auto is none other than the Nissan GTR R35. They enlarged the engine capacity from 3.8L to 4.2L and also feature wet aluminum liners, billet crankshaft, forged aluminum pistons, and I-beam connecting rods which produce 1510 horsepower and 1100 lb-ft of torque.
